Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team supporting a Fort Meade, MD customer. As a ISSO you will provide support to senior ISSOs for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support organization, system, or enclave IA programs

  • Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and methodologies.

  • Establish and maintain operational security posture.

  • Assist with information system security management and day-to-day security operations.

  • Provide CM as needed for security software, hardware, and firmware. Manage system changes and assess security impacts.

  • Prepare and review SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs.

  • Support security authorization activities in compliance with Government standards and the RMF

Basic Qualifications/Capabilities:

  • Experience as an ISSO, assisting with ISSO work or similar IT field roles on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university can be substituted for experience.

  • Experience in at least two (2) of the following areas:

  • knowledge of current security tools,

  • Hardware/software security implementation;

  • Encryption techniques/tools.

  • DoD 8570 compliance

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Splunk (search and reporting) 

  • Knowing how to build Splunk dashboards is a plus

  • Experience with AWS Docker services and Kubernetes

The projected compensation range for this position is $134,700.00-$224,700.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.  ManTech’s benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Short Term and Long Term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
